central florida – We’re used to seeing WKMG News 6 anchors Matt Austin and Ginger Gadsden on TV news shows and on their podcast “Florida’s Fourth Estate” on their apps and websites, but we take a close look behind the scenes. We offer you the opportunity to see it. The scene shows how the show comes together.

Florida’s Fourth Estate podcast covers popular topics and features interviews with Central Florida community members doing interesting and innovative work. The show is currently scheduled to air a live, in-person episode on February 9, 2024 at Miller’s Ale House in Winter Park Village.

“It’s perfect timing for this type of episode because it’s a perfect Segway for the big game, which will be held a few days before the Super Bowl and will be broadcast on CBS,” Ginger said.

Our guest on the live show is legendary football coach Lou Holtz.

“He’s very famous. He was with the Fighting Irish for a long time. He scouted my father, Chuck Austin, when he was the coach at North Carolina State in the ’70s, My dad didn’t end up on that team. I’m definitely going to bring it up,” Matt said. “Viewers can meet him and ask him questions, so it’s really interactive.”

“We’re going to have a great time, but you never know what’s going to happen at a show with a live audience. You’ll probably see yourself on TV one day,” Ginger said. “We also have some great swag and prizes up for grabs, and we’re looking forward to the opportunity to meet and interact with people in the community.”

If you’re a News 6 Insider, you first learned about this event through our Insider page and the Insider newsletter sent to you via email. News 6 Insiders had the opportunity to win free VIP tickets to special area events during the live event. (Tickets are sold out!)

However, if you come to Miller’s Ale House in Winter Park Village (located at 1251 Lee Road, Winter Park) on February 9th, you can join in the action as a live audience member. Taping for Florida’s 4th Estate begins at 7 p.m., but WKMG talent will be on hand from 5 p.m. to appear on the live hit show during the newscast.
