“I was already the funny kid in class, but I never considered stand-up as a career option,” she says. “I started going to open mics and local indie shows, and my obsession with performing and telling jokes on stage grew.”
During the pandemic closures, Ortiz used his experience from a semester of culinary school to prepare meals in funny and messy ways in his Instagram “Drunk Cooking” video, and when he went viral, he turned to cooking. combined his love of comedy with his passion for comedy.
