GLet’s go to town this weekend! Enjoy free art, see a musical with Aronoff, learn nature facts, go on a winter hike, and meet your favorite superheroes at a weekend event.

Art After Dark: A little more expensive

The Cincinnati Art Museum is open the last Friday evening of each month, and all ticketed exhibitions are free. This month we celebrate the exhibition Charles White: A Little Higher. There will also be food, drinks and live music by Pawns and DJ April Rain.
Friday, 5-9 p.m., 953 Eden Park Dr., Mt. Adams.

Beetlejuice at the Aronoff Center

This weekend is your last chance to see Broadway’s Beetlejuice musical, based on the popular Tim Burton film, at the Aronoff. Please don’t say my name three times.
Friday-Sunday, 8 p.m., 650 Walnut St. Downtown.

Great Parks: Winter Hiking Series

Great Parks traverses Shawnee Overlook this Saturday in our next winter hike series. Hikers who reach the end are rewarded with a bowl of soup for their trouble. A special button will be given to those who complete all five hikes during the month of January.
10 a.m., Saturday, $10, 2008 Lawrenceburg Rd., North Bend.

Barnett Woods Nature Encounters Series

For another winter-themed nature event, head to Burnett Woods for the return of Cincinnati Parks’ free nature series. Registration is not required. Saturday’s fourth and final event is “All About the Groundhog.” Guests will learn all about Punxsutawney Phil and his ilk in time for his Groundhog Day.
Saturday, 1 p.m., 3251 Brookline Ave., Clifton.

Marvel Weekend with the Cyclones

Fly to Heritage Bank Center for a Marvel-themed weekend with your favorite hockey team and meet Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man. There will be $5 crafts, drafts, seltzers and $1 popcorn, and the Cyclones will wear Marvel-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game.
Saturday, 6:30 p.m., Heritage Bank Center, 100 Broadway, Downtown.
