Target announced Wednesday it is adding 1,000 new products to its wellness category both in stores and online. The new push includes portals on the website and celebrity-backed brands such as Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s Lemme and Ashley Tisdale’s Being Frenshe. Ta.

Christina Hennington, Target’s chief growth officer, highlighted beauty as a leader for the retailer in its third quarter 2023 earnings report.

While Target focuses on wellness, it also has a broader perspective on beauty.

“It’s not just about skin care. It’s about how people get their best sleep and the tools they need to promote it,” Cassandra Jones, Target’s senior vice president of beauty and essentials, told Glossy. Told. “Also, the ‘nutrition and supplements’ category continues to grow.”
