Ashford Lane’s Politan Row opens on Friday, February 2, taking over the food hall space previously occupied by the short-lived Ashford Lane Hall, which was abruptly vacated from the Dunwoody complex last summer.

Politan Row has nine restaurant stalls serving everything from soul food and birria to Vietnamese and Italian cuisine. The food hall also includes a full-service restaurant, Mamacita’s Cuban Cantina, a central bar, and a cocktail lounge, okay Anny’s. Politan Row seats over 220 people and is open daily for lunch and dinner.

During its grand opening weekend, Politan Row on Ashford Lane will donate a portion of its proceeds to Dunwoody food pantry Malachi’s Storehouse and Atlanta restaurant nonprofit Giving Kitchen.

See below for food and drink options at Politan Row, Ashford Lane.

26 Thai
Owned by Niki Patarakositkul, this food stall serves a variety of Thai dishes.

Bucatini Ristorante
Owned by Luis and Maria Mendez, this stall serves handmade pasta and other Italian dishes.

Delilah’s daily soul
Owned by Philadelphia chef and cookbook author Delana Reeves, this stand serves her popular fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, chicken wings, and soul food sides like collard greens and cornbread. Served with sandwiches. Oprah called Reeves’ macaroni and cheese “the best in America.”

Pretty little tacos
Dunwoody will be the second location for Michaela Merrick’s Creole Mexican Street Taco Stand, which also operates on Politan Row in Colony Square. The menu includes birria tacos, tacos with oxtail, chicken and shrimp.

Sheesh
Chefs Charlie Sunapong and Paul Tai, the team behind Stage Kitchen & Bar and Peche, are serving up Mediterranean cuisine at this stall.

Smokehouse Q
Owned by Gregory Vivier, you can expect barbecue plates and sandwiches with traditional side dishes.

Tandoori Pizza & Wings Company
This is the second Politan Row location for Bojanic chef Archina Becker. Here, expect Indian street food like naan pizza, samosas, and chickpea-crusted potato wedges.

Mamacita’s Cuban Cantina
This full-service restaurant by Giby and Hoby Abreu is located at the back of the food hall and serves Cuban cuisine and sandwiches.

Well, Annie
Tucked away within Politan Row on Ashford Lane, this cocktail lounge conveys a 1980s and 1990s feel and bright, bold design aesthetic. Expect cocktails like the Kamikaze, Colorado Bulldog, and Cosmo.

Last summer, Rough Draft broke the news that Ashford Lane’s Hall would be abruptly pulled out of the Dunwoody complex. The food hall was open for only two months before it suddenly closed. Former employees of the hall have accused owner Jamal Malek Wilson of unpaid wages and questionable employment practices.

It is highly unlikely that Politan Row will suffer the same fate at Ashford Lane. Politan Group already operates a successful food hall in Midtown’s Colony Square, and plans to open his third location in Peachtree Corners later this year.
