Boynton Canyon | Famous for its dramatic 80-foot spire known as the Kachina Woman (representing the Holy Spirit according to the Hopi people), Boynton Canyon is said to be one of the areas with the highest concentration of energy vortices. Begin your hike by visiting Kachina Woman to absorb divine feminine energy, then wind your way through the valley. There are a variety of options, from casual nature walks to challenging climbs that take you to the region’s unique views. It’s easy to spend several hours in this special place, so a hat and hydration are highly recommended.
Red Rock State Park | This 286-acre nature preserve has plenty of options for beginners and adventurous hikers, as well as a variety of flora and fauna to explore. This is also an area that provides much-needed resources regarding monarch butterfly migration patterns. Commonly seen from spring to early fall, Sedona is on the butterfly migration route.
