In fact, the railway line from Patna to Ayodhya via Lucknow was a single track. Now in five years he has been doubled in size and electrified. Currently, due to lack of interlocking of stations on the Lucknow-Ayodhya Cantt-Shahganj-Jaffrabad railway line, trains are stopped midway at level crossings, resulting in delays. Under these circumstances, this system has been further improved. This will further increase the speed of trains passing through Patna.

Patna Kota, Patna Indore, Farakka and Kamakhya Bhagat Ki Koti Express trains depart from Patna Junction and pass through Ayodhya Railway Station. Farakka Express has been suspended from January 15th. The Railway Safety Board (CRS) then inspected it and agreed to allow trains equipped with electric engines to operate on double tracks. Ayodhya road interlocking work has also been completed.
