As artificial intelligence continues reshaping enterprise software, digital advertising platforms are increasingly shifting from dashboards and manual workflows toward conversational interfaces that promise faster decision-making. Perion has joined that movement with the introduction of Ask Perion, a new AI-powered self-service capability designed to simplify campaign planning and performance analysis for marketers.

The company unveiled Ask Perion and its accompanying mobile application at Cannes Lions 2026, positioning the launch as another step in its broader effort to build an AI-native infrastructure for omnichannel advertising execution.

Moving Beyond Traditional Marketing Dashboards

Modern advertising campaigns often span multiple channels, platforms, and formats, creating an environment where marketers must piece together data from numerous reporting tools before making decisions. That complexity has made campaign optimization increasingly time-consuming, particularly as brands demand faster execution and measurable returns.

Perion’s latest release aims to address those challenges by allowing marketers to interact with campaign data using natural language instead of navigating multiple dashboards.

Integrated into the company’s Perion One platform, Ask Perion is built around two AI-powered capabilities. The first, called the Insights Agent, enables users to ask questions about campaign performance and receive plain-language responses covering metrics such as spending, delivery, pacing, creative performance, and channel effectiveness.

The second, the Planning Agent, converts marketing briefs into structured cross-channel media plans aligned with campaign objectives, reducing the manual work typically involved in planning omnichannel campaigns.

Together, the two agents are intended to shorten the time between campaign ideation, execution, and optimization.

Extending AI to Mobile Workflows

Alongside the platform integration, Perion introduced the Ask Perion Mobile App, giving marketers access to the same planning and analytical capabilities through a mobile interface.

The application allows users to review campaign intelligence, generate media plans, and access performance insights without being tied to a desktop workspace. As hybrid and remote work continue to influence how marketing teams operate, mobile-first access has become an increasingly important component of enterprise software strategies.

By combining planning and analytics in a conversational interface, Perion is seeking to make campaign management more accessible while reducing reliance on traditional reporting workflows.

Supporting a Broader Self-Serve Strategy

The Ask Perion launch also represents a larger operational strategy for the company beyond product functionality.

According to Perion, the new capabilities are the first phase of a broader self-service execution model being developed within the Perion One platform. By enabling marketers to independently generate plans and retrieve campaign insights, the company expects to streamline internal operations while accelerating campaign turnaround times for customers.

The approach also reflects a wider trend across enterprise software, where AI agents are increasingly being positioned not only as productivity tools for end users but also as mechanisms for improving operational efficiency and scalability for software providers themselves.

Executive Perspective

Tal Jacobson, CEO of Perion, described the launch as a shift in how marketers interact with advertising technology.

“Ask Perion is another step we’re taking to serve marketers worldwide and help them reach their goals with minimum effort,” Jacobson says. “It marks a fundamental shift in how marketers interact with their campaigns, moving from navigating complex platforms to simply asking questions and generating instant plans. This launch represents a significant step forward in our ongoing journey toward a self-serve execution model. As we continue to evolve the Perion One ecosystem, this phased transition empowers our clients to drive ROI with unprecedented speed, while streamlining our operational workflows and laying the groundwork for highly scalable revenue. Ultimately, this move serves as a foundational building block in achieving the growth and efficiency targets outlined in our 2028 plan.”

The comments underscore Perion’s broader ambition to evolve its platform beyond campaign execution into a more autonomous marketing environment, where AI assists users throughout planning, analysis, and optimization.

AI Continues to Reshape Marketing Operations

The debut of Ask Perion arrives as AI becomes increasingly embedded across marketing technology platforms. Rather than simply automating isolated tasks, vendors are increasingly developing agentic systems capable of interpreting user requests, generating recommendations, and executing workflows through conversational interactions.

For Perion, Ask Perion represents an expansion of that vision within the Perion One ecosystem. By combining campaign intelligence, media planning, and mobile accessibility into a self-service experience, the company is betting that marketers will increasingly expect AI to reduce operational complexity while helping teams move more quickly from campaign planning to execution.
