For startups, speed has long been a competitive advantage. Today, however, speed alone isn’t enough. Companies also need cloud infrastructure that can scale efficiently, support increasingly sophisticated AI applications, and keep operating costs under control as they grow.
That challenge is driving demand for specialized cloud partners, and Automat-it is looking to capitalize on the opportunity. The AWS Premier Partner and Managed Services Provider has officially expanded into North America, backed by a new Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services valued at $1.4 billion over four years.
The expansion follows significant momentum for the company across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), where Automat-it reported 110% year-over-year growth in 2025.
Bringing a Startup-Focused Model to the U.S.
Unlike cloud consultancies that serve organizations of all sizes, Automat-it has built its business around startups. The company works with more than 800 customers, providing services that span cloud architecture, DevOps, FinOps, AI implementation, compliance, and ongoing operational support.
Its U.S. launch represents an effort to extend that model into what the company describes as the world’s largest startup ecosystem.
“US Startups face pressure to innovate rapidly and launch AI products without letting cloud costs spiral out of control,” said Ziv Kashtan, CEO of Automat-it. “This is the same challenge we have helped hundreds of fast-growth companies solve already by combining expert-led cloud consultancy with hands-on engineers that act as an extension of your core team.
“We are thrilled to formally bring our expertise in AI, DevOps and FinOps to the US market alongside AWS to deliver rapid deployment, aggressive cost optimization, and production-grade AI in the biggest startup ecosystem in the world.”
According to Automat-it, founders will gain access to more than 150 engineers with expertise across cloud modernization, agentic AI deployment, FinOps, DevOps, and infrastructure migration.
Expanding Its Role Within the AWS Ecosystem
The company’s North American strategy is closely tied to its relationship with AWS.
Automat-it says its newly signed Strategic Collaboration Agreement is intended to generate $1.4 billion in mutual business value over the next four years while giving customers broader access to AWS resources and scaling expertise.
The company has also strengthened its AI capabilities through AWS initiatives, becoming a launch partner for AWS’ Agentic AI Services competency. It was also among the first partners selected under the new Anthropic reseller agreement, positioning it to support customers adopting generative AI technologies.
These developments come as organizations increasingly look beyond experimentation and begin deploying AI into production environments, creating demand for cloud infrastructure that can support performance, reliability, and cost efficiency simultaneously.
Growth Fueled by Cloud Modernization
Alongside its AI capabilities, Automat-it says cloud modernization has become one of its fastest-growing business areas.
The company reported 450% growth in migration-related annual recurring revenue during 2025, reflecting increased demand from organizations looking to modernize cloud environments without operational disruption.
Automat-it says it has helped customers migrate infrastructure, build production-grade agentic AI workflows, reduce cloud bills, and maintain continuous operational support.
The company’s service portfolio spans every stage of the cloud lifecycle, from implementation and compliance to security, architecture optimization, and ongoing management.
Looking Ahead
Automat-it enters North America with an existing customer base that includes U.S.-headquartered Penlink, as well as partnerships involving companies with significant U.S. operations, including Vanta.
The company expects to work with more than 100 startups during its first year in the region and is now accepting engagements for AI implementation, cloud modernization, and cloud cost optimization.
Its North American debut will coincide with AWS Summit New York on June 17, 2026, where the company plans to introduce its startup-focused approach to a broader U.S. audience.
As AI workloads continue to reshape how startups build and scale technology, infrastructure is becoming a strategic consideration rather than simply an operational one. Automat-it’s expansion reflects growing demand for partners that can help companies navigate both innovation and the economics of running it in the cloud.
